Objective
Having recently secured the digital rights to show post produced Barclays Premier League and Football League video highlights over broadband, Virgin Media wanted to find a creative new way to develop a significant video advertising network which went beyond the Virgin Media website.
How Perform responded
Perform developed the V Player - an ad funded, free-to-view media player which syndicates Premier League and Football League highlights through 3rd party distribution sites.
The V Player now sits on 15 tier one sites including The Times, The Telegraph, The Sun, 4thegame.com, FourFourTwo, Clubwebsite.co.uk and FHM.com.

To date the V Player has an aggregated audience of over 10m unique users per month and has helped brands such as Coca-Cola, Setanta, Dell, Sony and Peugeot achieve click through rates of between 3 and 9%.
