ROLE:                             User Experience Designer

 

REPORTS TO:                 Head of User Experience

 

LOCATION:                     Feltham, Middlesex

 

HRS:                               9.00am to 5.30pm / Monday to Friday

SUMMARY:

 

As a UX Designer you are responsible for designing the user experience of highly usable and accessible websites and applications. You'll be working on some of the most innovative and exciting projects within the sports and entertainment arena across a huge number of clients such as EMI, Football League & Sony WTA.

 

You will define and organise content; create functional specifications in the form of screenflows, sitemaps, state transition diagrams, annotated wireframes and interactive prototypes. You will have a solid understanding of the principles of user-

 

centered design, experience of working on CMS template driven websites and are prepared to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

 

You should have some experience of usability testing methods and should be up to date on web technology and accessibility issues..

 

You will be required to gather requirements and run user groups and then analyse and implement the research results. You should; be eager to produce work which wins awards, be extremely organised and an enthusiastic, creative thinker.

 

 

 

PROFILE:

 

Our preferred candidate has:

 

 A bachelor's degree in a design related field or equivalent experience, along with knowledge of interaction design, usability, accessibility, and information architecture.

 

 3 years experience

 

 a functional and analytical skill set and is capable of translating complex requirements as well as marketing, client and user needs into elegant, creative, sophisticated and usable solutions

 

 experience with developing Rich Internet Applications using AJAX, Flash, HTML 5

 

 used software Axure RP, Visio, Word and Photoshop extensively

 

 used artefacts like screenflows/sitemaps, wireframes, personas and scenarios extensively

 

 experience with organizing, driving and analyzing usability tests

 

 strong interpersonal communication, presentation and explanation skills
