SO WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

 

As a developing Corporate Tax Manager, reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, you will work within the Tax Team and take responsibility for Corporate Tax compliance and reporting for the global Perform group.

 

You will have experience of Corporate Tax in a business environment (including compliance management and return preparation/review), in depth UK corporate tax technical knowledge, and be highly competent in tax accounting.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE? % of role
Review corporate tax returns (UK and overseas) and assist with other tax compliance including transfer pricing 50%
Preparing tax charges, provisions and accounting disclosures 15%
Manage global corporate tax compliance and help to maintain the relationships with global tax compliance suppliers 15%
Review and improve corporate tax processes and documentation (including balance sheet reconciliations and tax payment forecasts) 10%
Support and develop one direct report (Corporate Tax Trainee) 10%
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW? Skill Level (out of 4)
ACA/ACCA Qualified
Experience of UK corporate tax return preparation and review  
Experience of preparing tax charges, provisions and accounting disclosures (ideally under IFRS & UK GAAP)  
Experience of compliance management  
DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?  
Experience of corporate tax in a business environment
Some international tax experience
Experience of effectively managing external (or other) advisers and consultants
A highly flexible and measured approach to handling a large workload in an environment with rapidly shifting priorities and unpredictable demands
Experience of training and developing junior members of staff
