SO WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

This HR Business Partner will support the Group Operations function within Perform working for the Head of HR for Content and Group Functions but embedded into the senior management teams within this area.

This is the largest division within the company with c 1300 permanent employees and c3000 extended workforce globally. This function supports the external facing division and covers, Data Collection & Analysis, TV Production, News Output and Central Operations This is a truly global job with people spread across the majority of territories that Perform operate in.

This HRBP will support the departmental heads and their management teams providing the full range of HR generalist services. You will take the implementation of the Group Operations people plan to the next level, really making sure there is buy in from our people and management community throughout the function resulting in a real improvement in engagement and enablement.

You will be the primary go-to person for any day-to-day HR advice from the leaders within the division and be the gateway for managers to access the Centres of Expertise and HR Services team. All transactional work is either carried out by local teams or the HR services function.

Being a HR Business Partner in Perform is not for the faint hearted! To be successful you will need to have an upbeat and positive attitude with the ability to persuade and influence others. You need to  customer focused and having a collaborative hands on approach and the proven ability of identifying pragmatic business focused solutions to problems whilst recognising risks and implications of suggested actions is also essential.

You are supported by a team of 4 based in the UK, Portugal, India and Austria and as an international role you will be required to travel.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?

Influence, craft and agree the strategic people plan for your primary areas in conjunction with the local business leaders, Head of HR and other elements of the HR function. Using insights from the people survey, attrition reports and other HR & business related data

Lead the talent management process and follow up actions including succession planning and developing actionable Talent plans

Support and coach managers to effectively manage all aspects of employee relations and people issues ensuring a pragmatic business and best practice approach

Support the local management teams in the annual People Survey and the follow up workshops and actions

Be accountable for the annual salary review (ASR) and personal development review (PDR) process supporting the local management team and liaising with the Centre of Expertise and Head of HR

DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?

Skill Level (out of 4)

Must have a broad understanding of different aspects of HR, including a good grasp of employment law and the ability to use information and analysis to create and deliver appropriate strategic people plans

Has demonstrable success in influencing business stakeholders at a senior level to adopt appropriate HR strategies that support the business agenda, using a variety of influencing styles

Sound knowledge and practical application of UK employment law, procedures and processes with good experience of advising on, implementing and improving these areas

Ability to communicate effectively, succinctly and professionally to all levels of people

Strong organisational capability, able to prioritise and delegate to meet deadlines and to manage large volumes of diverse work, providing creative solutions where necessary

Strong MS Office and IT literacy with the proven ability to create and deliver workshops and presentations

Professional Human Resources qualification desirable
Experience of working in a fast paced and sometimes unstructured environment helpful!
