SO WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

 

The HR Manager is a standalone role providing support for the Katowice location within Perform. This consists of c300 employees split across Software Development (c237) and Finance (c63). They are supported by a HR Advisor (direct report) and local Recruiter (dotted line)

 

This role will be support the local management teams providing the full range of HR generalist services and implementing the Technology & Finance people plan including developing local actions in conjunction with the management teams as when appropriate. The centre is going through large expansion so key is supporting this process including involvement in the recruitment needed for that. They will need to work closely with the senior manager in the UK and their UK based HR colleagues to deliver the appropriate service

 

The successful applicant will be the primary go-to person for any day-to-day HR advice from all leaders within the centre acting as a true partner and be the gateway for managers to access the Centres of Expertise and HR Services team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE? % of role
Support the recruitment process for the growth of the local development team, personally managing the recruitment of senior level roles. Proactively work with the local and UK team to retain our talent and reduce attrition 20%
Provide reliable advice on legal, contractual and HR issues in line with the local terms and conditions of employment 5%
Support and coach managers to effectively manage all aspects of employee relations and people issues ensuring a pragmatic business and best practice approach. Provide personal coaching to the leadership team of the business area 30%
Support the local management teams in the annual People Survey and the follow up workshops and actions 10%
Be accountable for the annual salary review (ASR) process supporting the local management team and liaising with the Centre of Expertise and Head of HR 10%
Ensure the personal development review (PDR) process runs smoothly locally supporting the managers in implementation and consistency of approach. Support the local management team to ensure people have up to date career development plans and clear career pathways 15%
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW? Skill Level (out of 4)
Must have a broad understanding of different aspects of HR, including a good grasp of Polish employment law 4
Has demonstrable success in influencing business stakeholders at a senior level to adopt appropriate HR strategies that support the business agenda, using a variety of influencing styles 4
An upbeat and positive attitude 4
Customer driven, collaborative with a hands-on approach and the proven ability of identifying pragmatic business focused solutions to problems whilst recognising risks and implications of suggested actions 4
Enthusiastic about HR and what it can deliver with a successful track record of delivering HR services and business support 4
Strong organisational capability, able to prioritise and delegate to meet deadlines and to manage large volumes of diverse work, delivers on their promises 3
Strong MS Office and IT literacy with the proven ability to create and deliver workshops and presentations 3

Professional Human Resources qualification desirable
Experience of working in a fast paced and sometimes unstructured environment helpful!
