JOB PURPOSE (SO WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?)

We are looking for a talented and driven Motion Designer to join the Experience Design (XD) team in Munich. As a global team, we are responsible for delivering market leading creative across multiple platforms to help push forward Perform’s global sports brands including DAZN, Spox and Goal. You will also work on creating immersive motion experiences for large external brand campaigns via our leading football agency, Goal Studios. On a global level, you will be joining a team of 30+ Designers based across the UK, Australia, Japan, USA and Italy.

The applicant will be commercially minded, adept and comfortable producing award-winning motion creative in a fast-paced agency environment managing multiple stakeholders and clients. 

KEY DELIVERABLES (WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?) % of role
Creating compelling motion graphics that engage our, and our clients’, social media audience whilst building brand presence 40%
Working with external brand guidelines and ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and on time 30%
Collaborating with other Designers to ensure cohesive and consistent campaign styles are fed into all motion 10%
Lead conversations with excellent communication skills. Speaking to other departments in order to establish goals, upcoming tasks and priorities. 10%
Proactive and well organised. Effective multi-tasking and ability to prioritise work based on potential impact and urgency. 5%
Present work back to key stakeholders, explain difficult design decisions and sell your creative vision. 5%
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?) Skill Level (out of 4)
Strong portfolio showcasing creative personality and ability 4
Highly talented Motion Designer with strong ideas and experience in Motion GFX and VFX 4
Fluent in English in order to collaborate with the global XD team 3
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to self-manage workload 3
Methodical and efficient working style with real attention to detail  3
High competency in all areas of Adobe Creative Cloud – especially After Effects, Premiere and Cinema 4d or equivalent 3
Exceptional knowledge of digital design trends and patterns 2
Confidence in presenting and showcasing concepts and visuals to stakeholders 1
Ability to contribute to a design team culture 1
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS (DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?)
Ability to deliver creative across multiple platforms
Ability to work within and develop Brand Guidelines
Designbased education or equivalent industry experience
An interest in sports
