SO WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

Perform the digital sports content and media group has announced a comprehensive strategic agreement with American football’s NFL which will see us marketing the league’s television and digital rights in numerous markets outside of the USA and Europe.

 

A significant part of this agreement will see us marketing the NFL’s digital subscription product, NFL Game Pass, in over 100 countries including Brazil, Mexico, Japan and Australia. As a member of the Perform Marketing team, you will play a lead role in this by working in the Global team and alongside the Local teams on the media strategy and execution to drive awareness, demand and revenue.

 

As Performance Media Exec, you will join a busy marketing team helping to deliver innovative digital-first multi-channel marketing activities/campaigns across the full customer journey – driving brand awareness, customer acquisition and loyalty.  A great opportunity to work with leaders in the sports, media & tech industries and an opportunity to develop your skills in consumer marketing in a fast paced international environment with a unique culture (we have a start-up mentality whilst being part of a global organisation).

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?
To build and deliver the performance media materials for the division
Work with the senior performance media manager, the media agency, marketing analytics, and to develop global testing roadmaps and ensure learnings are carried forward
To work with local market representatives to assist them in implementing campaigns, shaping the performance aspects of the campaigns and ensuring that best practice is followed.
Support and work with key digital agencies to get the best from them, make them feel part of the team and hold them to the same high expectations you have of your colleagues.
Working alongside the rest of the NFL marketing team to ensure consistency in our offer, accurate campaign reporting, budget management, and optimization of our marketing efforts
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?
Degree level (or equivalent) education in related subject
Previous marketing experience (in-house, or agency): sport, digital, mobile, media, entertainment, lifestyle, or brave FMCG brand (i.e. Red Bull)
Creative thinker with flair for customer engagement and brand building;
Some knowledge of SEM, Display, Affiliates, with some knowledge of DMPs/ marketing tech stacks and SEO a plus
Ability to manage projects across multiple internal and external stakeholder groups
Strong relationship building with ability to communicate at different levels
Rounded knowledge of marketing channels and media platforms
Excellent communications and presentation skills
Creative thinker with analytical skills
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
Have a keen interest in sports
Brand savvy, audience focused, digital native – passionate and knowledgeable about marketing
Plenty of enthusiasm and excellent communication skills
Analytical and detail orientated, but with a sense of brave innovation
2+ years’ experience in performance media
Ideally experience working in an international business or across multiple timezones
