On your daily basis you will be working on page which works under high traffic, where performance is important. You will be a part of Scrum Team and have direct impact on product which is used by millions of people.

Working alongside the UK based product team, you will be involved, though constant communication and updates, of all the major and minor development works related to keep the site as competitive as possible. |WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?||% of role|
|Working with team, you will deliver and enhance a world size informational football website||15|
|M Maintain high-quality coding standards to ensure the service is robust and simple to build on.||15|
|Deliver robust, modular and testable code adhering internal engineering procedures, code conventions and development methodologies.||10|
|Contribute to comprehensive documentation that supports the development and system support lifecycles.||5|
|Work to remove any friction around software deployment to ensure iterative releases and rapid deployment of updates to our customers across all platforms.||5|
|Collaborate with the Product and UX Design team on the delivery of the product requirements.||5|
|Mentoring and supporting other Developers with their day-to-day problems||5|
|Creating and maintaining cross project libraries||5|
|DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?||Skill Level (out of 4)|
|Knowledge of at least one PHP framework||4|
|Ability to use design patterns in PHP applications||4|
|Commercial experience with GIT or other distributed version control||4|
|Knowledge and experience in application caching mechanisms||3|
|Experience in SQL||3|
|Professional approach to code debugging, detecting errors and potential problems||3|
|Deep knowledge about unit tests and experience in writing tests||3|
|Experience in json and xml formats of data||3|
|Commercial experience in dependencies managers like composer||3|
|Experience in usage of Linux or other unix like OS||3|
|Intermediate English language skills||3|
