  We are going to change sports media forever, by putting the consumer first, providing more sport, no ads, no long contract and a single low monthly fee. As part of the Marketing team you will play an important role in understanding our consumers and how to engage with them. Working with the Head of PR and PR Manager and international colleagues you will support the delivery of campaigns, events and opportunities to drive awareness and adoption of our product.
The Job
Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • You will be in charge of proposing, planning and execution of future plans and PR activities for DAZN.
  • You will also support the delivery of game changing marketing communications for DAZN.
  • Tracking and evaluating press coverage and commentary
  • Tracking the news/sport agenda and identifying potential media/social opportunities
  • Dealing with media enquiries
  • Creating PR assets, briefing documents for spokespeople and other marketing materials
  • Creating and maintaining media lists and setting up meetings with press contacts
  • Creating reports and presentations in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Supporting the creation of print, online and social content
  • Support the delivery of campaigns and day-to-day activity  – working with colleagues to create buzz around our content and our product
  • Working with our agencies to support campaign delivery
  • Help organise launch events and experiential activity that generates more bang for our buck
  • General team admin, organisation and logistics
  • Ensure that we communicate well with all parts of the business and the group
    Qualifications and experience:
  • Some PR /marketing experience (1-2 years)
  • Curious, interesting in sports
  • Flexibility, passion
  • Tech savvy
  • Strong belief in company, industry, what we are doing
  • Organized
  • Demonstrable sports knowledge
  • Experience of working with a global strategy adapted for the Japanese market
  • Bilingual (Japanese and English)
  • Creative flair
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A degree or other qualifications in Communications, Journalism or a related field
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with fantastic attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Passionate about sport/technology
  • IT literate, including an understanding of social media and blogging
  • Strong relationship building, able to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent standard of written/spoken English and good presentation skills
