SO WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

As a Product Manager for Content Discovery at DAZN, you will be responsible for launching and supporting features for Browse, Search and Personalisation functionality across All Platforms (Phone/Tablet/Desktop/Livingroom). Your main role will be to assess, prioritise, define, communicate, deliver, monitor and iterate on features in an Agile, user centric and data driven environment. You will work closely with UX, Development teams and other stakeholders to create requirements in a BDD Gherkin format. You will be working on a global product with the opportunity to shape a next generation video OTT platform to deliver streaming sport (live and on demand) to a large customer base around the world. Your role will involve managing internal and external development teams located in the UK and near shore and liaising with production, broadcast, marketing, commercial and technical teams in each of our live and upcoming territories. There will be opportunities to travel to these development bases and to undertake direct user research and testing in new and existing markets.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?

Working with UX and lead Devs to prioritise scope, define and deliver requirements in a BDD Gherkin format for Content Discovery Feature teams across all platforms

Define, monitor and react to KPIs and usership data for each new feature

Liaising with Customer Service, Marketing and Partner Relationship Managers to ensure each territory is well briefed on features/functionality and Product is made aware of any issues/necessary improvements

DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?

Skill Level (out of 4)

Experience as a product manager or business analyst for a B2C product, delivering features from start to finish in an Agile environment (min 1 year)

Strong requirements creation skills writing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria collaboratively in a BDD Gherkin format

Passion for user centric, simple, intuitive and beautiful user experiences (reducing cognitive drain)

A data driven approach to development and prioritisation

A pragmatic approach to feature prioritisation and compromises between designs and technical capabilities

DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?

Strong communication skills and experience reporting back to senior management
Strong research skills, experience of competitor analysis and drawing conclusions from data
Creation of UML and user flow diagrams
Technical background/degree
Experience of streaming media/OTT app development
An interest in sport
