To be a member of the rugby operations data collection team in the Leeds hub.
|WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?||% of role|
|Coordination of a team of casual analysts to ensure accurate and timely collection of rugby data from a wide range of competitions around the world||15|
|Live capture and encoding of match footage||7.5|
|Quality control and assurance for live and post-match analysis of rugby matches||15|
|Matchday management involving support and monitoring of live event services||15|
|Distribution of video and data to clients (print and online media, broadcasters and professional clients)||15|
|Management of rugby database (squads, fixtures, players, etc)||15|
|Dedicated customer support to all rugby clients||7.5|
|Training and supervision of casual staff||10|
|ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?)||Skill Level (out of 4)|
|In-depth knowledge of rugby union, rugby league or both including laws, teams and players||3|
|Excellent organisational and communication skills||3|
|The ability to concentrate for long periods and pay attention to detail||4|
|Commitment to working evenings and weekends||4|
|Good IT skills and an aptitude to learn how to use new software packages||2|
|DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS (DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?)|
|Experience of Opta rugby data collection software and methods|
|Specialist knowledge of both rugby union and rugby league|
|Experience of working with large databases|
|French language skills|
|Coaching or refereeing qualifications|
