|SO WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?|
As Technical Program Manager, you will support the on-going technical delivery of DAZN, a sports video streaming service across web, mobile and living room devices (game consoles, connected TVs, Blu-ray players, and set-top boxes) for all European markets.
You will be responsible for supporting our product and software development teams for Commercial Integrations, Market Specific features, and local initiatives to drive acquisition and engagement from fans in the regionals markets on DAZN.
You will collaborate with internal teams across product, design, operations, finance, marketing, commercial and the executive team on the product requirements, and manage the technology strategy and technical delivery with both internal and external development teams.
|WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?||

|Manage multiple internal and external software development teams to deliver and enhance a best in class digital video service.||
|Work with local teams to realise their vision for product enhancements and/or drive creative use of the existing product features to drive engagement of fans in the market||
|Ensure business objectives are met and risks are managed, resolving technical problems in a timely and cost-effective manner.||
|Collaborate with the Product and UX teams on the product requirements documents, inc. wireframes, user flows and detailed designs.||
|Working with the QA Team to ensure all pre-launch defects are correctly prioritised and resolved in a timely manner to meet the agreed launch dates||
|Establish and monitor service level metrics relative to business KPI’s.||
|Review and approve proposed development releases and manage the release process through hardware manufacture submission processes.||
|Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the delivery.||
|Degree in Computer Science or relevant experience in software delivery.|
|Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a fast-paced online environment|
|Proven experience leading successful technology delivery in a dynamic business.|
|Hands on experience with Agile methodologies.|
|Excellent organisational and coordination skills.|
|Experience influencing software engineering best practices.|
|Strengths in problem solving; working to a deadline; attention to detail; ability to multitask.|
|Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.|
|Must have experience in managing outsourced software development partners.|
|Understanding of the challenges of launching products in multiple, non-English speaking markets.|
|Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.|
|Knowledge of end-to-end video delivery technologies an advantage.|
|Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance or scrum.org)|
|General interest in sport a real advantage.|
|Spanish, Portuguese or French language skills also an advantage.|
