Perform, the UK-based digital sport and entertainment specialist today launched two new channels for the e-Player, the free-to-view multi-channel video player, which delivers premium sports highlights and video clips across the web.

From this week e-Player viewers will be able to access for free - Factory Media owned MPORA.TV, with the hottest highlights from extreme sports and mainstream events such as the British Motocross Series, UCI Mountain Bike Series and TTR Snowboard Series as well as the Telstra owned Aussie Sport TV channel featuring V8 Super Cars, NRL and AFL highlights.

In addition, the best highlights from Major League Soccer will be integrated into the Omnisport.tv International Football channel, currently available on e-Player.

e-Player is currently available across a number of the UK's leading digital publishers including News International, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Daily Mail, Johnston Press and Trinity Mirror. Reaching an audience of 15 million unique users with over 20 million video plays per month, e-Player offers great sport content for consumers and a huge opportunity for advertisers.

Perform and Virgin Media launched the e-Player in August and these two new channels will sit alongside selected highlights from Virgin Media's Barclays Premier League and Coca-Cola Football League match content, as well as a portfolio of premium sports channels from Perform's Omnisport.tv brand, including European Football Leagues and International Football plus tennis, golf, rugby, cricket, darts and basketball content.

Oliver Slipper, Joint CEO Perform, said: "Rights holders are increasingly looking for ways to engage directly with consumers wherever they are around the world and e-Player is able to bridge that gap. The channels provide content for publishers that would otherwise be beyond their reach whilst simultaneously offering online advertisers an exciting syndicated proposition."

Darryl Newton, Managing Director of Factory Media said "MPORA.TV's relationship with Perform is an exciting step in servicing the ever growing demand for Extreme sports content to a wider audience. MPORA.TV already delivers 500,000 video streams per month - with Perform's network we aim to double that. The recent RipCurl Newquay Boardmasters surfing event saw an average viewing time of 29 minutes."
